BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. The source is the BodyParts3D 4.0 IS-A 99% polygon-reduced release. Positionlab converts the geometry for browser use and adds provisional articulation and presentation materials. These modifications are not part of the original dataset and do not imply endorsement.
Open-source software
The lab uses Three.js, with bundled meshoptimizer and fflate code. License notices are retained in the source dependencies and are included in the third-party notices.
Development tooling includes Vite, TypeScript, and Vitest. Dependency versions and license evidence are recorded with the project’s launch audit.
Materials and typography
The audited supplied material maps match Poly Haven originals made available under CC0. The project retains byte-level source verification for those files. This does not establish rights to every other image or asset in the app.
The lab includes Kedebideri, Roboto, Roboto Mono, Trispace, and Michroma font files. See the third-party notices for verified font license texts and remaining evidence notes. Product pages use system fonts, with Michroma for the landing-page wordmark.
Original artwork and position references
The equipment geometry, skeleton-picker illustrations, interface artwork, and separate aged-bone texture are recorded as original work by the project owner. Existing creation and export records are retained.
The position-library wording is also recorded as owner-authored. Entries retain their reference citations and verification notes; method accuracy and educator review remain separate from authorship.
Use of the preview
The current build is an educational development preview with the limitations described in the guide. Public release terms, operator details, support commitments, and rights review remain pending. No ownership claim over third-party materials is implied by their inclusion.
